Skanska Global IT - Infrastructure Engineer III in Charlotte, North Carolina

Skanska USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to join our team. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the company's infrastructure, ensuring its availability, reliability, and security. The candidate should have strong technical skills, experience in cloud technologies, and a deep understanding of infrastructure systems.

While designing, deploying and maintaining the company’s infrastructure systems, the infrastructure engineer will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross functional teams, tackle complex and critical issues, and develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. An Infrastructure Engineer at Skanska is also heavily involved in monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure systems, maintaining security protocols, and manages company infrastructure projects.

Infrastructure Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or 5+ years of related experience and/or training

  • Proficient technical background in areas such as operating systems, server administrations, backup solutions, storage, and cloud systems

  • Ability to develop and maintain system documentation, manage projects, and troubleshoot problems

  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members

  • Expertise in Directory Service (AD, AAD, etc.)

  • Knowledge of various technologies including Azure Management, Directory Services, PKI & Federated Services, Exchange, O365, Storage, Backup & Restore

  • Ability to effectively communicate highly complex technical concepts to varying levels of organizational management
